2.Can I replace my existing door or patio slider with a Panoramic Door system?

Yes, we designed our system for easy replacement of most popular patio doors, like Sliding glass doors, French, and bi-fold doors. There is no need for structural changes or additions as all our systems loading is on the bottom track. We recommend you use a qualified installer for your replacement installation for the best performance of your door.

3.Do you have standard sizes?

Starting in September we will be offering 4 standard panel sizes 8 feet and 6 feet 8inch high and 31 inches and 34 inches wide using a combination these panel widths and adding 4 inches for the jambs we can accommodate most standard rough openings. These are only available in the Absolute Series. The signature series is all custom made making each door to your exact measurements we can provide you with more choices and an exact fit.

4.Is the door weather proof?

All our out-swing doors have an excellent weather rating.

5.How wide are the tracks?

All our doors run on a single track approximately 3.5 inch wide.

6.Can the doors open both ways as in the video?

Yes, but only the Signature Inswing/Outswing, we recommend to be used in sheltered or internal installations as a flush track is required and no weather rating is available.

7.How does it attach to the rough opening?

All our doors are installed as block frame.

8.Can the panels open in the middle of the opening?

No. Only at either end or both ends of the opening.

9.What bottom track options do you have?

Our innovative design on the signature series allows tracks to be flush, raised, or a combination of both. On the Absolute Series raised or partially raised tracks are only available

10.How wide and how high can a Panoramic Door be?

Panels on the signature series can be a maximum of 10 feet high x 40 inches wide, with the number of panels being limited only by structural requirements and design of your building. On the Absolute series panel sizes are a maximum of 8 feet high x 36 inches wide

11.What is the production time for orders?

Manufacturing time for a normal order is 4-5 weeks. Delivery time and cost will depend on your location and shipping choice.

12.What is the Production time for premium orders?

Manufacturing time for premium order (custom paint) is 6 weeks. Delivery time and cost will depend on your location and shipping choice.

13.What is the Production time for The Absolute Vinyl Series?

Manufacturing time for standard units is 5 weeks at the moment but will normally be 2 weeks. Delivery time and cost will depend on your location and shipping choice.

14.Does the flush track have proper drainage?

The ends of our bottom flush tracks are capped with a composite cap. The cap is available with a spigot where you can attach a flexible tube to direct water away from the building.

15.Can you ship the door unglazed?

Starting in October 2011 we can but only the Signature thermal break series. Frame and panels will be broken down and flat packed for on-site assembly and glazing. We will provide an Owner's manual with detailed assembly and step-by-step installation instructions.

17.Do I need a bigger header?

We recommend you take expert advice in all cases.

18.What type of glass do you use?

Where the doors are glazed we use 1 inch over-all dual glazed tempered solar ban 50 low e units as standard but you can specify most types glass, please call 1-760-722-7252 for more information.

19.Do the doors have good security?

All our doors work on the same principle when they are closed they all interlock together to form a solid wall. The swing doors are all available with a double hook bolt for maximum security.
